The hotel has a good location and the building is attractive.

The TV remote did not function and I heard neighbors through thin walls. I needed to call reception at 3 a.m. Windows had drafts and the room was cold on arrival. Ordering drinks during dinner took too long.

The location was very convenient for visiting the castle. I found the private courtyard to be lovely in the sunshine. The staff members were friendly. Haggis at breakfast tasted delicious!!!

My shower was poor. The room looked tidy, yet it felt very outdated. There was a lack of sockets. I noticed no extra pillows.
